The Endless Gloom
The Endless Gloom: The Descent of the Red Spark
You are already inside.
They call it The Gloom: a geometric curse of infinite concrete and black, stifling air. You are a small, lone red ball—a single, fragile spark of life, and the labyrinth is endless. You can’t remember how you arrived, only the cold, constant dread that tells you: keep moving.
Your world is defined by the faint, flickering light you carry. But in the Gloom, the light is a promise and a lie. The deeper you roll, the more twisted your reality becomes.
Game Features:
- A Nightmare Without End: The maze is procedurally generated on the fly, ensuring that every corner turned leads to an unfamiliar, terrifying new space. The descent is perpetual.
- Sensory Deprivation: The deep, dark environment is lit only by your tiny red glow. The architecture is cold and quiet, but you can feel the echoes of forgotten voices brushing against the walls.
- Ephemeral Tools: Scavenge for brief, temporary defenses: Light Boosts to forcefully push the suffocating shadows away, or the momentary clarity of a Mini-Map before the walls shift again.
- The Glitches of Reality: Beware the things that move in the blackness. They aren't just shadows—they are anomalies. Some chase, but the worst ones play tricks on your mind, warping your location when you are most vulnerable.
The Final Warning
Your only goal is depth. How far can a single spark fall before it is snuffed out? Keep rolling. Don't look back. Don't think about what you heard in the distance.
Keep going until the light fails.
...The maze is broken. It’s not right. The walls are screaming... they’re screaming my name. I'm lost. You have to save me. Save me, save me, save me...
Controls: Use WASD or Arrow Keys to roll, and the Mouse to frantically steer your light.
